3 Pieces of technology a real estate agency must have

It’s no secret that technology is used in almost every facet of a real estate office. New technologies are emerging every day thus we can say that technology is advancing as we speak. This is the reason why it is being used in all the professions. No matter what job you are doing or what business you are running, technology is going be the part of it because without it you won’t be able to compete in the market. All business use technology today to make their product and service better and better.

Just like all professions, real estate agencies today are also using a lot of technological equipment to at their fullest to improve their service and succeed in the real estate market. The 3 pieces of technology that a real east agency must have are listed below;

1.     Smart Phones

Everyone today has a smartphone which is why it is very important to have a smartphone if you are running a real estate agency. You’d be surprised at how often we see agents still using an old flip phone, yes really! A smartphone allows you to use your social sites anytime and anywhere and you can capture images and videos for your agency and be able to share these with other smartphones users. In addition, many of the widely used CRMs have smartphone components, allowing you to capture data at open for inspections via smartphone or tablet.

2.     CRM

As we touched on in #1, CRMs are used by many agents, if you’re looking to start your own agency or perhaps even if the agency you’re in at the moment does not have a CRM it is a critical mistake. A CRM will save a great deal of time as well as streamline processes from marketing, client relationship and engagement and legal/statutory requirements.

3.     Applications

We’re not talking about the big portal’s apps or the app that comes with your CRM. We’re talking about YOUR agency’s own mobile app. In a world where everyone from pizza stores, online retailers, insurance companies, banks and even the Kardashians have their own app, that your real estate agency doesn’t! The statistics clearly show that users prefer to spend more time on their smartphone than opposed to actual computers. Having your agency’s own app could really help it stand out from the competition. Contact us to learn more.
